Snowbird 6 proposed to girlfriend during home opener

The Snowbirds held their home opener at Moose Jaw on Apr. 29. Right after the team drew a heart in the sky, Captain Greg Hume-Powell, Snowbird 6, proposed to his girl friend Emily Simpson.

Taiwan says no plan to deploy missiles to Taiping Island

Lack of satcom means Dutch F-16s seldom deployed over Syria

Dutch lawmakers found out during a recent trip to Jordan that RNLAF F-16s deployed to fight ISIL seldom fly over Syria as they are not equipped with satellite communication equipment.

Indonesia will sign Su-35 deal this month

Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo will visit Russia from May 19-20 during the Russia-ASEAN Summit and during that time, he will witness the signing of the deal to buy eight Sukhoi Su-35 fighters.

Canada to decide on CC-150 replacement after new fighter is selected

The head of Royal Canadian Air Force said a replacement for the CC-150 aerial refueling tanker will only be considered after the fighter to replace the Hornet has been selected.
