A press release by Japan’s Ministry of Defense has details of the first flight of the Mitsubishi X-2 stealth demonstrator. The aircraft took from from Nagoya airfield at 0847 local time and landed at JASDF Gifu airbase at 0913.
Survey shows most Danes don’t want a new fighter
A poll sponsored by Jyllands-Posten newspaper revealed that 53.3 percent of Danes are against the program to buy a new fighter jet for the Danish Air Force.

Sentinel-1A satellite maps out North Korea’s nuclear test site
Sentinel-1A, a European radar imaging satellite launched in 2014, has mapped out the surface of the test site in North Korea where it conducted an underground nuclear bomb test in January.

USMC has borrowed some MQ-8Cs from Navy to test them on LHDs
At a hearing for the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, the Deputy Commandant of the Marine Corps for Aviation told lawmakers that the service has borrowed some MQ-8Cs from the Navy to see how they could be operated from the amphibious assault ships.
