Bell-Boeing given $151 million to start designing CMV-22B

The U.S. Navy has given Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office $151 million to start development work on the CMV-22B.

Advanced Arresting Gear traps its first manned aircraft

U.S. delivered three UH-1s to Lebanon

The U.S. government has delivered three UH-1 helicopters to Lebanon on Apr. 1. The ceremony was attended by U.S. Chargé d’Affaires ad interim Ambassador Richard H. Jones at Beirut Air Base.

KC-46 encountered issue while transferring fuel to C-17

During the transfer of fuel in mid-air from a KC-46 to a C-17, testers found that the boom’s axial load was higher than expected. This setback could delay the type’s Milestone C decision in May, the U.S. Air Force has said.

Airbus has found two new issues with Europrop TP400

Fresh issues have crop up on the propeller gear boxes of the A400M but Airbus says the new setbacks will not delay its plan to deliver 20 of the cargo plane this year.
