Indian Navy Heron UAV crashed
The Indian Navy lost one of its Heron unmanned aerial vehicle off the Kerala coast on Mar. 18. The drone suffered an engine failure and the crew was able to ditch the aircraft successfully.

JGSDF radar on Yonaguni Island to go online on Mar. 28
A radar manned by Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) soldiers on Yonaguni Island will go online on Mar. 28. The radar station will extend Japan’s observation network by 200 miles.

Interfax confirms sale of 40 Mi-28NE attack helicopters to Algeria
Interfax reported on Mar. 18 that Algeria has bought 40 Mi-28NE attack helicopters. The main difference is that these rotor-crafts are designed with dual flight controls at the request from Algeria.
