Safran wants to boost M88’s thrust to 20,000 lbs
Safran’s CEO, Philippe Petitcolin, said he is keen to boost the thrust of the M88 turbofan engine to 20,000 lbs but he added that the idea has not been discussed with Dassault.

LM claims to be producing “a controllable, aerodynamic configuration” capable of Mach 6
Lockheed Martin’s CEO was quoted as saying at the company’s media day that the aerospace giant is “now producing a controllable, low-drag, aerodynamic configuration capable of stable operations from takeoff to subsonic, transonic, supersonic and hypersonic, to Mach 6.”
