45th Space Wing, 920th Rescue Wing hold astronaut recovery demo
In less than two years time, the United States will be sending astronauts into space from Cape Canaveral and the 45th Space Wing and 920th Rescue Wing have started their preparations to deal with any emergency aborts.

More details on the AV-8B incident aboard USS Kearsarge
Last week, we reported that a AV-8B was badly damaged during takeoff from USS Kearsarge on Mar. 8. A spokesman from U.S. Naval Forces Central Command has provided more details on the incident.

U.S. Navy orders 12 UH-1Ys and 16 AH-1Zs
In a release filed on Mar. 11, the U.S. Navy has placed an order for 12 UH-1Ys and 16 AH-1Zs for the Marine Corps. The contract is worth $461 million.
