U.S. Army wants to arm Stryker with 30mm cannon for air defense duties

The U.S. Army plans to upgun its Stryker 8×8 armored vehicles with a 30mm automatic cannon and the weapon will come with air-bust shells to act as an anti-aircraft platform.

Boeing close to decision whether to self-fund Super Hornet production line

Reuters reports that Boeing is close to making a decision on whether it wants to purchase materials for assembling more Super Hornets while waiting for more orders to be finalized.

Dan Gillian, who runs the Super Hornet program at Boeing, believes the company will “be building F/A-18s into the 2020s” based on the demand signals received.
