The medavac variant of KAI’s Surion helicopter made its maiden flight on Jan. 22. The rotor-craft was airborne for 20 minutes during the flight at Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province.

A Republic of China Army Aviation Black Hawk helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing in Taichung city, Taiwan this afternoon at around 11 a.m. local time.

Minuteman accident was not reported to Pentagon review team
Back in 2014, former U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel commissioned a review of the entire U.S. nuclear force by a group of nuclear weapons experts. The review started in March and it was during that period when an accident at F.E. Warren Air Force Base resulted in $1.8 million in damage to a Minuteman missile. Air Force Global Strike Command now said the review team was not told of the accident.
