Canada’s new defense minister doesn’t rule out F-35 from fighter competition
Canada’s new defense minister Harjit Sajjan was asked twice during a conference call with reporters whether the Lockheed Martin F-35 is being excluded from the competition to replace the CF-18, and both times he sidestepped the question.

Hunter T7 that crashed had out of date parts
The U.K. Air Accidents Investigation Branch’s (AAIB) probe into the fatal crash of a Hawker Hunter T7 at the Shoreham air show found that the jet’s ejection seat parts had expired and its technical manual had not been updated.

Saudi forces intercepted ballistic missile fired from Yemen
A ballistic missile fired from Yemen towards Jizan, Saudi Arabia was successfully intercepted by the Saudi military. A counter strike by the Saudis destroyed the launcher.
