Carrier Charles de Gaulle ready to launch air strikes from today

French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told Europe 1 radio that aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle will be “operational” starting from today and air strikes into Syria will begin soon.

Work expects F-35 to participate in Canada’s upcoming fighter competition

U.S. Deputy Defense Secretary Bob Work said he expects the F-35 fighter to compete in the fighter competition to be launched by Canada’s new Liberal government.
