Philippine’s FA-50PHs to arrive home today

The first two of 12 FA-50PH for Philippines took off for home on Nov. 27, a delay of one day due to weather.

The two jets made a rest stop in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and will depart for Clark today.

China sent H-6Ks to Miyako Strait again

China sent 8 H-6K bombers out to the Pacific Ocean today. Four of those bombers went through Miyako Strait and back while another four turn left and flew parallel to the Japanese islands before returning to base.

Poland might drop plans to buy H225 and Patriot

The new Polish defense minister Antoni Macierewicz said his government might back out of plans to buy 50 H225s from Airbus Helicopters and the U.S. Patriot missile system.

India forced to use PC-7 MkII for intermediate stage II pilot training

Pilatus Aircraft executive Jim Roche told Flight Global that the Indian Air Force has been forced to train its student pilots in the intermediate stage II phase using the PC-7 MkII.

Germany offers Tornados, frigate and aerial refueling tankers to fight ISIL

The German government has promised to send reconnaissance version of the Tornado fighter-bomber to aid France’s fight against ISIL.
