First two Norwegian F-35s arrived at Luke AFB

The first two Norwegian F-35s arrived at Luke Air Force Base on Nov. 10. Shortly after their arrival, a Norwegian pilot took to the skies in a F-35 for the first time.

U.S. clears sale of two C-130Js and two KC-130Js to France

The Obama administration has approved the sale of two C-130Js and two KC-130Js to France. The entire package, inclusive of parts and logistical support, is estimated to be $650 million.

FMS: 500 AGM-114Rs for U.K.

The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency has notified Congress on the potential sale of 500 AGM-114R Hellfire II Semi-Active Laser (SAL) missiles to Britain.

Joint Strike Missile successfully released from F-16

The Joint Strike Missile (JSM) was successfully released from a F-16 at Edwards Air Force Base last week and the missile was able to complete a series of flight maneuvers.

USAF lost a brand new AC-130J

A brand new U.S. Air Force AC-130J was declared total loss after an incident over the Gulf of Mexico on Arp. 21. The gunship was carrying out a medium risk flying qualities test sortie when it “over G’d,” reaching 3.194 Gs according to the report.
