F/A-18C from VMFA-232 crashed in U.K. while returning home from Middle East

A F/A-18C from VMFA-232 crashed near Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England while returning to its home base at MCAS Miramar on Oct. 21. The pilot was killed in the crash.

Egypt to acquire one excess E-2C

According to information posted on the U.S. Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman to return aircraft (a/c) A-97 (currently being preserved) and associated parts to the Egyptian Air Force.
