The U.S. government has approved the potential sale of 16 Evolved Seasparrow Missiles (ESSM) to Thailand. The FMS request is for 14 tactical missiles and two telemetry missiles.

Global Hawk to join exercise in New Zealand
The U.S. Air Force will send a RQ-4 to New Zealand for Exercise Southern Katipo 2015. This is the first time the unmanned aerial vehicle is appearing in New Zealand.

India to upgrade Il-76/78 fleet; digitized S-125 missile units
India’s Defense Acquisitions Council (DAC) has cleared the upgrade of its Il76 and Il78 fleet with new engines and avionics. The modernization will extend the lifespan of the aircraft by another twenty years.
