JASDF scrambled 231 times against Chinese aircraft during last six months

Latest figures by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force revealed that Japanese fighters were scrambled 231 time against Chinese aircraft from April to September this year.

Tornados are back at RAF Leeming, Luftwaffe Tornados actually

The Panavia Tornado is once again flying out of RAF Leeming, with a squadron of the fighter-bombers from the Luftwaffe’s Wing 51. The jets are temporarily there for Exercise Joint Warrior.

Australia orders more BOL countermeasure dispensers from Saab

Australia has placed an order with Saab for additional BOL countermeasure dispensers. These will go on the RAAF F/A-18A/B fleet.

RAF Eurofighter was scrambled last month to intercept Argentinian aircraft

A Royal Air Force Eurofighter was scrambled to intercept a Argentinian search aircraft approaching the Falklands on Sept. 24.

South Korea’s foreign affairs secretary is first person to be sacked over KF-X fiasco

South Korea’s President Park Geun-hye has replaced senior presidential secretary for foreign affairs Ju Chul-ki with Kim Kyou-hyon for failing to obtain the offsets for the KF-X fighter program.
