Brazil to borrow less from Sweden to fund Gripen project this year

Brazil has cut the amount of funds it will borrow from Sweden’s export credit agency SEK to pay for the purchase of 36 Gripen fighters.

Report recommends that Finland start Hornet replacement in next decade

A Finnish working group has recommended that Finland start a search for a new fighter to replace its Hornets starting from 2017-18.

F-15Es deploy to Aviano, Italy

Hungarian Gripen carried out belly landing, pilot ejected

A Hungarian JAS-39 Gripen fighter made a belly landing at Kecskemet air base on Jun. 10 after its nose gear failed to extend properly. The pilot ejected during the landing sequence after losing control of the aircraft.

Israeli Air Force is first foreign air force to participate in Exercise Southern Strike
