Thai military rejects U.S. request to station P-3C in Phuket to search for boat refugees
The U.S. Navy had dispatched a P-3C to Phuket, Thailand to participate in Exercise Guardian Sea, the U.S. government wanted the plane to remain after the exercise in order to search for Rohingya refugees. The request was rejected by the Thai military.

Hungarian Gripen crash not technical fault
The lost of a Hungarian JAS-39D fighter at Časlav, Czech Republic, was not due to any technical problem, Czech Defense Minister Martin Stropnický told reporters.
