B-1s, B-52s had joint stand-off weapons training

Two B-52Hs from the 340th Weapons Squadron flew to Dyess Air Force Base, Texas in April for a joint stand-off weapons training with B-1s from the 77th Weapons Squadron.

Philippines says China is practicing to set up ADIZ over South China Sea

Philippine Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin told reporters on May 8 that China is “practicing to have an Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ)” over the South China Sea.

HAL LCA’s EW capabilities not up to standard

Philippine Air Force air battle managers controlled aircraft on board a USAF E-3

Air battle managers from the Philippine Air Force were able to controlled their aircraft from a U.S. Air Force E-3 Sentry AWACS for the first time during exercise Balikatan 2015.

Two civilians killed as Indian MiG-27 crashes

A Indian Air Force MiG-27 crashed at Tantipara on May 8 during a night flight, two civilians on the ground were killed by the crash.
