Sweden secures production slots for four C-390 transport aircraft

Sweden has officially committed to acquiring four C-390 aircraft from Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer, securing necessary production slots as part of a joint European procurement effort. The announcement was made during the LAAD Defence & Security 2025 exhibition in Rio de Janeiro on Apr. 1.

Colombia selects Swedish Gripens to replace aging Kfir fleet

Final F-16 arrives for VENOM autonomous aircraft program

The Viper Experimentation and Next-gen Operations Model – Autonomy Flying Testbed (VENOM) program received its final F-16 Fighting Falcon on Apr. 1, completing the fleet that will be modified for autonomous aircraft testing.

Ghost-X makes training debut at Salaknib 2025

The Anduril Ghost-X unmanned aircraft system made its training debut in the Philippines last week during Salaknib 2025, marking a significant milestone in both U.S. military drone deployment and Philippine-U.S. military cooperation.

Japan’s 8th Anti-Ship Missile Regiment established in Oita Prefecture

The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) has officially established the 8th Anti-Ship Missile Regiment at Yufuin Camp in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture, marking the completion of the government’s planned seven-regiment nationwide deployment. A commemorative ceremony was held on Mar. 30, attended by Vice Minister of Defense Taro Honda, following the unit’s formal activation on Mar. 24.
