Canada carried out first airstrike in Syria
Canada’s CF-188 Hornets conducted their first airstrike in Syria on Apr. 8. Two Canadian Hornets were amongst the 10 aircraft in the strike package that struck an ISIL garrison near Ar Raqqah, Syria.
