Two Royal Thai Air Force Gripen pilots from 701 Squadron will head to China in May where they will gain a first hand knowledge on the J-10.

The two F/A-18s from VMFA-323 have both departed Taiwan at 13:13 local time today. A U.S. C-130 flew in from Japan the night before to repair one of the aircraft.
Gen. Mark Welsh, chief of staff for the U.S. Air Force, said the search for future air dominance might not necessarily lead to a new airplane.
