Photos: PLA Z-18 and Z-20 together (Update)

This is probably the first photo of the two helicopters together. (Update: Apparently, the smaller helicopter is the Z-20. This is the second time a photo of the aircraft has surfaced. The location is Mohe Gulian Airport, where most of the Chinese aircraft go there for cold temperature testing.)

Saudi Arabia bought Meteor air-to-air missiles for its Eurofighters

La Tribune is reporting that Saudi Arabia has signed a near 1 billion Euro deal to buy Meteor air-to-air missiles to arm its Eurofighter fleet.

UCLASS to enter service from 2022 or 2023

The U.S. Navy has pushed back the service entry date for the Unmanned Carrier Launched Surveillance and Strike (UCLASS) aircraft from 2020 to 2022 or 2023.

Biodegradable binding material protects CV-22s during practice landings

After a year of trials, the 58th Special Operations Wing concluded that a biodegradable binding material applied to practice drop zones helps protect the engines and propellers of the CV-22 from damage by dirt.

Russia suspends Dnepr rocket conversion program with Ukraine

For many years, Russia has been converting surplus R-36MUTTH ICBMs into Dnepr space launch rockets with Ukraine. Moscow has now suspended the program.
