India’s Nirbhay cruise missile was tested for the second time on Oct. 17 and this time the weapon successfully completed its flight profile.
P-40K discovered at Midway Atoll
A P-40K that crashed off Midway Atoll in 1943 has been rediscovered. The wreckage was found in about 25 feet of water off the southeast side of the barrier reef within the Midway Atoll National Wildlife Refuge and Battle of Midway National Memorial.
Danish F-16s flew first mission against ISIL
Danish F-16 fighter jets flew their first mission over northern Iraq on Oct. 16. However, the jets were not called to carry out any air strikes against ISIL during the first mission.

Legend behind ‘Pardo Push’ visits Seymour Johnson Airmen
