Chinese agency acknowledge existence of DF-41 ICBM

The first official acknowledgement of the existence of the DF-41 ICBM has been uncovered. The Shaanxi Province Environmental Monitoring Center published a progress report for Jun. 6-13 and item 13 of the report stated an environmental assessment of the missile facilities had been carried out.

Russia to build own aircraft carrier if France cancels delivery of Mistral-class

Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said the country has the capability to build Mistral-class helicopter carriers on its own if France decides not to deliver the two vessels Moscow ordered.

Theodore ‘Dutch’ Van Kirk, the navigator of the Enola Gay, has passed away on Jul. 28 at the age of 93.
