Onodera: Japan to consider multi-function transport ship

Japan’s Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera told reporters after his visit to USS Makin Island that Tokyo will examine the usefulness of a mult-function transport ship that can carry vehicles and helicopters.

NAVAIR could still clear USMC F-35Bs for U.K. trip

A spokeswoman for the F-35 joint program office told Defense News that it is possible for U.S. Navy to clear the F-35Bs that belonged to the U.S. Marine Corps for the trans-Atlantic flight to Britain.
