The Associated Press has learned that armed security forces at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana failed a drill last summer that simulated the hostile takeover of a missile launch silo.

Uganda military helicopter crashed
A Uganda People’s Defence Force helicopter crashed on May 22. The aircraft apparently had a mid-air collision with a eagle and the pilot was injured in the head.
