CAG 17 relieved of duty
Capt. Jeffrey Winter, commander of Carrier Air Wing 17, was relieved of duty by Rear Adm. David Steindl, commander of Carl Vinson CSG, following allegations of an “inappropriate relationship” with a female junior officer under his command.

Final assembly of S-97 Raider this week
Sikorsky will begin final assembly of its S-97 Raider prototype this week. The helicopter, based on the X-2, will make its first flight next year.
