Indian Air Force C-130Js played important role during humanitarian missions in Uttarakhand
Dense fogs and narrow valleys often hamper the Indian Air Force’s attempt to evacuate those stranded by floods in Uttarakhand. Not being able to deploy an early warning aircraft for air traffic control, a C-130J was used to monitor the weather patterns over Uttarakhand every morning.

Rosoboronexport says it is in talks with Ethiopia to sell 18 Su-30Ks that were returned by India. These aircraft are currently in Belarus.
