F-35A costs 10% more to operate than the F-16

The U.S. Air Force has told Dutch government officials that the cost per flying hour for the F-35A is about 10% more to operate than the F-16, at $24,000.

USAF says it can replace part of RQ-4 Block 30’s role with other “classified platforms”

Lt. Gen. Charles Davis, the U.S. Air Force military deputy for acquisition, told Congress that part of the roles envision for the RQ-4 Block 30 can be substituted with the U-2 and other “classified platforms.”
