Florida ANG F-15 pilot under investigation for low-flying over Iowa

A Florida Air National Guard F-15 pilot is under investigation after residents in Des Moines, Iowa complained that the jet was flying too low on Dec. 4.

F-35C completes initial pit drop testing

Testers have completed weapons pit drop testing for the F-35C. Overall, the team completed eleven weapon releases, split between the left and right weapon bays, earlier than planned.

Royal Guard of Oman carried out first operational firing of VL MICA Ground Based Air Defence system

The the first ever operational firing of the land-based VL MICA system by an export customer was carried out on Sept. 24 by the Royal Guard of Oman.

Photo: F-35B completes second airborne weapons separation

F-35B BF-3 completed the first GBU-12 airborne weapons separation on Dec. 3. It was also the second airborne weapons separation for the F-35B.
