Syria tried to ship helicopters back from Russia via Iraq

ProPublica, non-profit investigative news organization, has evidence that Syria had tried to ship it’s Mi-25 attack helicopters back home from Russia via Iraq.

Pentagon may fund work for new helicopter to preserve helicopter design capabilities

Worried that the U.S. defense industry could lose the capacity to generate new designs for military helicopters, the Pentagon said it may fund initial work on a new military helicopter in a year or two.
