USAF plans to reinstate V-22 formation flying training
Four years ago, the U.S. Air Force decided that its students undergoing conversion to the V-22 at VMMT-204 doesn’t need to learn formation flying. It has now decided to reinstate those training after a CV-22 crashed in June.

USAF Major dies during military survival training at NAS Pensacola
A U.S. Air Force Major died while undergoing military survival training at NAS Pensacola. The Air Force said Maj. Garrett Knowlan, stationed at Eglin Air Force Base, was taking a course on how to survive in open water after parachuting.
