CC-130J damaged during maintenance
A RCAF C-130J was damaged while it was jacked up for maintenance at CFB Trenton on Jul. 1. One of the landing gear door was damaged and the right wing jack pierced the wing.

Israel green lights Egypt’s deployment of attack helicopters in Sinai peninsula
Israel has agreed to temporarily ease the terms of a 1979 peace treaty with Egypt so that the latter can deploy attack helicopters in the Sinai peninsula.

CIA’s recovery of Hexagon film capsule declassified
The U.S. Navy was roped in by the CIA to recover a film capsule from a KH-9 Hexagon spy satellite that had landed 16,400 feet below the Pacific Ocean in 1972. Details of that salvage operation was recently declassified.
