An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 115th Fighter Wing, Truax Field, Madison, Wisconsin takes-off from Truax Field Oct. 11, 2021 for the units deployment to the Middle East. MCAS Miramar will soon have a squadron of F-35Bs to train pilots on how to fly the STOVL fighter.
A F-35B Lightning II with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 taxis down the runway at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, August 7. Two F-35s from the squadron landed to refuel before heading back to MCAS Yuma to complete their flight.
