USS Bataan gives Italian Harrier a ride to MCAS Cherry Point

Panetta expected to lift F-35B’s ‘probation’

USS Simpson and Fire Scout set sail for Africa
USS Simpson is on a six-month deployment to western Africa with the MQ-8B Fire Scout on board. This is its third at-sea deployment aboard a guided missile frigate and the first without a H-60 accompanying.

F-35A performs first night flight
The first night flight of the F-35 was completed Wednesday at Edwards Air Force Base using AF-6. The testing will clear the way for night refueling and formation testing later this year.
