Exercise Han Kuang 37 started off on Sept. 13 in Taiwan and Mirage 2000 fighters were deployed to Chiashan underground air base on the eastern side of the island. The ASTAC SIGINT pod was spotted on one of the Mirage 2000.

Sage Geosystems and UT to study feasibility of geothermal power generation at Ellington Field JRB
Sage Geosystems has secured a second phase feasibility study award from the U.S. Air Force Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) office. Together with the Bureau of Economic Geology at the University of Texas at Austin, both parties will explore using geothermal energy to generate electricity at Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base in Texas.

Greece has ordered another 6 Rafales
Greece has ordered six more Rafale fighters, bring the total number ordered to 24. The announcement was made by French Defence Minister Florence Parly.
