Russian Air Force on verge of signing up for 65 Yak-130s
Head of Russian Air Force, Col. Gen. Alexander Zelin, said on Tuesday that his service will sign a contract with Irkut for 65 Yak-130 jet trainers within the next two weeks.
Iraq without fighter cover for two-years
Maj. Gen. Russell Handy, commander of the 9th Air and Space Expeditionary Task Force-Iraq, told Stars and Stripes that Iraq will be left with no fighter cover when U.S. forces depart next month.
