Raytheon has been given a $569 million contract for 234 AIM-120D and 203 AIM-120C7 AMRAAM missiles. The contract also include other related items like test missiles and parts.

The first test of the Raytheon SM-3 Block IB interceptor has failed. The Missile Defense Agency said in a written statement that “an intercept of the target was not achieved.”

AeroVironment completes development of Shrike VTOL UAS
Four years ago, DARPA gave AeroVironment a contract to develop a portable, stealthy, persistent perch and stare (SP2S) unmanned aircraft system. The company announced on Aug. 30 that it has completed the project.
