B-52 will fly over North Pole to attend MAKS 2011

A B-52 bomber will create history next week by flying over the North Pole and land in Russia. The aircraft is participating in MAKS 2011.

Telemetry with HTV-2 lost nine minutes into glide phase

DARPA’s Falcon Hypersonic Technology Vehicle 2 (HTV-2) was successfully launched into the upper atmosphere on Aug. 11. However all signals with the vehicle was lost after nine minutes into the flight.
