Andersen AFB commander confirms British Carrier Strike Group heading to Guam

Andersen Air Force Base commander Brig. Gen. Jeremy Sloane told reporters on Aug. 1 that the British Carrier Strike Group will be heading to Guam.

FULL UK CARRIER STRIKE GROUP ASSEMBLED FOR FIRST TIME
The full UK Carrier Strike Group assembled for the first time during Group Exercise 2020 on 4th October. Aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth leads a flotilla of destroyers and frigates from the UK, US and the Netherlands, together with two Royal Fleet Auxiliaries. It is the most powerful task force assembled by any European Navy in almost 20 years.

USAF F-16s now able to receive in-flight software updates to its EW system

The U.S. Air Force has successfully demonstrated that the F-16’s Electronic Warfare System can receive software updates with new Mission Data File while airborne.

NF-16D VISTA redesignated as the X-62A

The NF-16D Variable In-flight Simulator Aircraft (VISTA) has been redesignated as the X-62A last month.
