C-5M makes first non-stop, polar route from U.S. to Afghanistan

A C-5M Super Galaxy flew a non-stop, polar route from Dover Air Force Base to Afghanistan on Jun. 5 and 6, making it the first U.S. Air Force aircraft to do so.

BAE Systems Hawk defeated by T-50, M346 again

BAE Systems has pulled out of the race to supply Poland with 16 advance jet trainers. Steve Mead, BAE Systems’ Vice-President for Central and Eastern Europe, told Reuters the decision is final.

Saudi Arabia requests for 404 CBU-105D/B Sensor Fuzed Weapons

The U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress last week of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Saudi Arabia of 404 CBU-105D/B Sensor Fuzed Weapons and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $355 million.
