The Low-Cost Imaging Terminal Seeker (LCITS) will give helicopters a “fire and forget” capability by allowing the pilots to designate a target, fire a rocket and move on to the next threat.

Admiral Sir Mark Stanhope, head of the Royal Navy, said there are four Royal Navy fighter pilots flying the F/A-18 with the U.S. Navy so that Fleet Air Arm can regenerate its carrier strike capability when the new aircraft carrier is ready.
