Chief Master Sgt. Richard L. “Dick” Etchberger, a U.S. Air Force senior NCO, will receive the Medal of Honor Sept. 21 in a White House ceremony for his actions at Lima Site 85, Laos in 1968.

RAAF aircrews over-prescribed sleeping pills
A study by the RAAF’s Institute of Aviation Medicine found that the air force’s aircrew who are deployed to Southwest Asia have been over-prescribed sleeping pills.

Iceland to license ECA Program for Su-27 operations
Outgoing Icelandic Minister for Transport has tasked the Icelandic Civil Aviation Authority to process ECA Program’s application to operate in Iceland. ECA is planning to base a large fleet of Su-27s in Iceland.
