B-1 carries first full JASSM load

A Dyess Air Force Base B-1 carried a full load of 24 AGM-158 Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missiles on a five-hour flight over the Gulf of Mexico, Sept. 7 — a first for the B-1 and AGM-158.

BAE Systems asked to provide details on canceling CVF

The chief executive of BAE Systems told a defense select committee that his company was asked to provide details on the cost of canceling one or both the Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier by the government.

Australia late in getting JASSM

Australia selected the AGM-158 JASSM for its AIR 5418 Follow-on Standoff Weapon (FOSOW) requirement in 2006, deliveries of the weapon was supposed to start last year. Until now the weapon has yet to be fitted to a RAAF F/A-18 for testing.
