RAF Merlin went down in Afghanistan, USMC CH-53E come to rescue
HT to Rotorhub. A RAF Merlin helicopter made a heavy landing at a base in Afghanistan on Jun. 23. A CH-53E Super Stallion from HMH-466 was able to quickly mount a Tactical Recovery of Aircraft or Personnel (TRAP) mission to recover the aircraft on Jun. 26.
Final C-130J delivered to Norway early
The Royal Norwegian Air Force has taken delivery of its fourth C-130J Super Hercules, a full 60 days earlier than the projected delivery date.
