Russian Airborne Troops intends to order An-124 and An-70

Russian Airborne Troops Commander Lt. Gen. Vladimir Shamanov said on Wednesday that the defense ministry intends to order An-124 and An-70 military transport aircraft.

Mighty F-22 grounded by rust

This is the first time I heard this, the F-22 fleet was grounded in February after rust was found on the ejection seat rods.  The fault was attributed to poor drainage in the F-22 cockpit.

ABC reporter is first journalist to fly combat missions in USAF fighter

ABC News’ Martha Raddatz is the first reporter to ever to fly on a combat mission aboard a USAF fighter when she went on a 5½ hours mission over Afghanistan in a F-15E.

South Korea to accelerate plans for anti-submarine helicopters in wake of Cheonan sinking

After years of delay, the South Korean government has decided to fund for anti-submarine helicopters.  The lack of airborne anti-submarine was exposed during the sinking of the Cheonan.
