Japan hopes to export Mogami-class frigate to Indonesia

Japan and Indonesia recently signed a defense equipment and technology transfer agreement during a Foreign Affairs and Defense Ministerial Meeting (2 plus 2) in Tokyo on Mar. 30. Media reports from Japan says this will pave the way for Japan to export the Mogami-class frigate to Indonesia.

VRM-40 to be established this fall at NAS North Island

The U.S. Navy will established its second CMV-22B unit and the first squadron for the East Coast, at NAS North Island this fall.

This evolution marked the first time the Navy’s CMV-22B Ospreys have landed on a carrier. Vinson is currently underway conducting routine maritime operations.
