327th Airlift Squadron’s dirt landing practice

U.S. Air Force Reserve aircrew from the 327th Airlift Squadron land a C-130J Super Hercules on a dirt landing zone during the distributed operations training event near Charleston, W. Va., Aug. 25, 2020. The training event tested aircrew on their tactical combat airlift skills such as cargo airdrop, formation flights, and personnel delivery in a contested environment. There were a total of eight aircraft from various Reserve and Guard units supporting the training effort, enabling strategic depth and readiness for the force. First Black female U.S. Marine qualified to fly MQ-9

U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Shaneka Shaw, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron-1 Weapons and tactics instructor, recently graduated from the MQ-9 Basic and Requalification/Transition Course 2 class 20-03 to become the first Black female Marine qualified to fly MQ-9.
