Charles de Gaulle’s replacement to undergo sea trials in 2036

France’s Minister of the Armed Forces Florence Parly has disclosed that the replacement for aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle will start sea trials in 2036 and enter service in 2038.

IAF chief says global tender for 114 fighters to proceed

Head of the Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal (ACM) R.K.S. Bhadauria, says the global tender to buy 114 fighters is still proceeding and the new aircraft is in a different class compared to the indigenous Tejas.

NATO JTACs train with RAF Eurofighters and Spanish F/A-18

Lithuanian, German and Norwegian Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTAC) carried out training with Royal Air Force (RAF) Eurofighters and Spanish F/A-18s at Kazlų Rūda training ground on May 11.

Last living Polish WW2 fighter pilot dies of COVID-19

Jerzy Główczewski, the last living Polish fighter pilot who fought in World War II, passed away on Apr. 13 due to COVID-19. He fought as a Spitfire pilot with No. 308 “City of Kraków” Polish Fighter Squadron.
