PHASA-35 has flown for the first time
BAE Systems has completed the maiden flight of its PHASA-35 unmanned air vehicle. The 35m wingspan solar-electric aircraft took to the air at RAAF Woomera Test Range in South Australia.
USN to deploy conventional prompt strike hypersonic weapon on Virginia-class SSN
USNI News reports that the U.S. Navy will deploy its new conventional prompt strike (CPS) hypersonic weapon on Virginia-class nuclear-powered submarine instead of the Ohio-class guided-missile submarine.

USAF has taken delivery of all GAU-5As
The U.S. Air Force Gunsmith Shop has completed the delivery of approximately 2,700 GAU-5A rifles. Known as the Aircrew Self Defense Weapon, the rifle can be fitted inside the seat kit of ACES 2 ejection seats.
